The Mandalika, October 7, 2026– Ahead of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, scheduled for October 9–11, 2026, at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, The Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara, PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), in collaboration with PT Dharma Lautan Utama (DLU), is preparing sea transportation as an alternative access to Lombok.
DLU services through Lembar Port, Lombok, will be available before, during, and after the race weekend. One of the routes that can be utilized by the public and tourists is the Surabaya–Lombok route, departing from Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya and arriving at Lembar Port in West Lombok.
During the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 period, departures from Lembar Port will be available from October 4 to 17, 2026. Ahead of the race weekend, KM Dharma Kencana is scheduled to depart for Surabaya on October 8 at 1:00 p.m. WITA. Meanwhile, on October 10, 2026, during the race weekend, KM Dharma Kencana is scheduled to depart for Surabaya at 3:00 p.m. WITA.
Following the race weekend, services from Lembar Port will remain available on October 12, 14, and 17, 2026, including services to Surabaya as well as the Waingapu–Kupang route. Several departures to Surabaya during this period will be served by KM Dharma Kencana and KM Dharma Kartika V.
The availability of these services provides an alternative connectivity option for the public and tourists traveling by sea during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 period. In addition to transporting passengers, DLU services also provide an option for travelers bringing private vehicles.
Chairman of Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, Troy Warokka, said that connectivity is an important part of the supporting ecosystem for the organization of international events at The Mandalika.
“The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia requires the support of an integrated ecosystem, including connectivity. We appreciate DLU’s support in providing an alternative sea transportation option to Lombok. With alternative travel options available for both passengers and vehicles, the public and spectators have greater flexibility when traveling during the event period,” said Troy.
To support passenger and vehicle travel needs, KM Kirana VII has a capacity of up to 471 passengers and 62 private vehicles, while KM Dharma Kencana can accommodate up to 554 passengers and 84 private vehicles. Facilities vary depending on the vessel and service class, ranging from Economy Seating and Economy Sleeping Areas to Executive Seats, Cabins, and VIP facilities.
Director of Operations & Business at PT Dharma Lautan Utama, Rakhmatika Ardianto, expressed DLU’s readiness to provide sea transportation services for people traveling to and from Lombok during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 period.
“DLU is ready to support connectivity to Lombok through sea transportation services for both passengers and vehicles. Through the Surabaya–Lombok route, we provide various service and facility options that can be tailored to travelers’ needs. We hope these services will provide greater convenience and serve as an alternative travel option for people heading to Lombok during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 period,” said Rakhmatika.
To provide greater convenience for passengers, DLU tickets can be purchased through DLU Official Agents, the nearest DLU Branch Office, the DLU Ferry application, and the DLU ticket booking website. For group passengers, the DLU Marketing Team can also assist with the booking process, subject to the availability of facilities and cabin classes.
Through collaboration with various stakeholders, ITDC continues to support the readiness of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 ecosystem, including by providing various transportation options to facilitate the mobility of the public and spectators traveling to Lombok and The Mandalika.
