The Mandalika, August 24, 2026 – Ahead of the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, PT MGPA Nusantara Jaya (MGPA), part of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), is strengthening its collaboration with the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to present local creative products as part of the official merchandise for the international racing event.
The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on Saturday (August 22). This partnership continues the merchandise consignment collaboration for the 2025 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia and also opens wider market access for NTB's creative economy players through the hosting of international events at The Mandalika.
MGPA President Director, Ananda Mikola, stated that the inclusion of local creative products in official merchandise is part of an effort to expand the economic benefits of the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. "The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia is not just about racing, but also about how this event opens opportunities for various sectors to grow. Through our collaboration with GEKRAFS, we want to provide a space for local creative works to be present in the visitor experience while reaching a wider market," said Ananda.
Under this collaboration, products that have undergone a curation and design approval process will be marketed as official merchandise through the Circuit Store at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit and through online sales channels managed by MGPA. The presence of these NTB creative products is expected to provide an alternative for visitors to take home local products as part of the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia experience.
