The Mandalika, August 15, 2026 – National four-wheel racing is heating up again at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Top racers, young talents, and national racing teams will compete at the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) Round Three, taking place from August 14–16, 2026.
Organized by the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), the MFoS Round Three features the 2026 Indonesian Touring Car Race (ITCR) National Championship as one of the main events. This third round will feature 103 starters. The presence of experienced racers such as Fitra Eri, Avila Bahar, M. Andri Abirezky, Alvin Bahar, Amato Rudolph, Apip Ginanjar, and Avan Abdullah will strengthen competition in several classes, while also opening up space for young talents such as Ananda Zayn, Neymar Idy (14), and Farrel Rafellyno Augusto (16) to hone their skills on international-standard circuits.
These names also previously enlivened the competition in Round Two of the MFoS. Podium finishers in the second round included Andri Abirezky, Fitra Eri, Alvin Bahar, Nadeem Rustombi, Avila Bahar, Avan Abdullah, and Apip Ginanjar. The return of several experienced racers alongside the younger generation makes Round Three not only a battle for top positions on the track, but also a competitive space to build the experience and skills of national racers.
The President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), Ananda Mikola, stated that the consistent implementation of the MFoS is part of our efforts to build sustainable four-wheeled racing competition in Indonesia.
"We continue to promote the Mandalika Festival of Speed to become one of the events that brings together the best racers in Indonesia. The presence of names like Avila Bahar, Fitra Eri, Alvin Bahar, Amato Rudolph, and others demonstrates that competition at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is increasingly competitive. On the other hand, we also want to provide a space for young racers to learn and develop by competing alongside more experienced racers," said Ananda.
According to Ananda, the regular presence of national competitions at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit plays a crucial role in building a broader motorsports ecosystem. The circuit not only serves as a venue for international championships, but also provides a space for racers, teams, mechanics, engineers, communities, sponsors, and automotive industry players to grow together.
"The most important thing is building the ecosystem. Not just for racers, but also for teams, mechanics, engineers, communities, sponsors, and the automotive industry. With regular competitions, we hope that more Indonesian talent will gain the experience and skills to advance to higher levels," he said.
Six Racing Classes Present at the Third Round of the MFoS
The Third Round of the MFoS features several classes and categories, including the ITCR 1200 National Championship, ITCR 1500, ISTCR 3600, Superstars Sportcar Series, KRIDA Agya One Make Race, Subaru BRZ Super Series, and Time Attack.
The ITCR 1200 will feature racers from several national teams, including Honda Racing Indonesia, Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia, GR Garage Auto2000 Racing Team, Delta Garage Racing Team, Dewa United, and Razaiq Motorsport. Some of the names competing in this class include Avila Bahar, Amato Rudolph, M. Andri Abirezky, E. Amandio, and Romy Tahrizi.
Meanwhile, the ITCR 1500 will feature Fitra Eri, Akheela Chandra Dewanto, Avan Abdullah, Mhd Rafa Rodiansya Dypo, and Rava Mahpud. The majority of participants in this class use Honda City Hatchbacks.
Competition will also take place in the ISTCR 3600, with several experienced racers including Alvin Bahar, Evan Shih Satria Pratama, M. Fadlurrahman, Hendra Kamdani, Muhammad Yasin Kosasih, Apip Ginanjar, Christian De A. Pandiangan, and Gerhard Lukita. A variety of vehicles will be used in this class, ranging from BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes to the Honda Civic Type R.
The third round of the MFoS series begins on Friday, August 14th, with practice sessions, Time Attack sessions, and participant preparation. The competition continues on Saturday, August 15, with qualifying, Superpole, and Race 1 featuring the Superstars Sportcar Series, Subaru BRZ Super Series, ITCR 1200, ISTCR 3600, ITCR 1500, and KRIDA Agya OMR. On Sunday, August 16, the event enters its final day with the second qualifying, Superpole, Pit Walk, Opening Ceremony, and Race 2. Spectators can watch the drivers in action live until the afternoon.
Free to the Public
In addition to presenting a national racing competition, the Third Round of MFoS also provides the public with an opportunity to experience the motorsport atmosphere firsthand. The entire event can be watched free of charge at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
MGPA hopes that this open access will bring motorsport closer to the public and expand motorsport's fanbase in Indonesia. The presence of racers, teams, communities, and spectators is also expected to stimulate economic activity in the Mandalika area and its surroundings.
The continued holding of the MFoS is part of MGPA's efforts to optimize the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit as a hub for national motorsports activity. Through regular competitions, the circuit not only serves as a stage for international championships but also as a space for Indonesian talent to gain competitive experience and develop to a higher level.
